Take a journey through the evolution of Hangar 11 San Diego. From its beginning to the present day, each version of Hangar 11 is showcased below.
Version 0 (Nov 2024-Feb 2025)
This is when Hangar 11 was first established as a dedicated area for radio-controlled aircraft. The initial vision was to provide a space for aircraft storage before expanding into other aspects of the brand and the space itself.
Version 1 (Feb 2025-Jul 2025)
Version 1 was the first time Hangar 11 had a large fleet of aircraft in one space. However, the layout was scattered, making it difficult to organize and navigate. These challenges eventually led to the redesign and creation of Version 2.
Version 2 (Jul 2025-Now)
Version 2 was a massive overhaul for Hangar 11. It was the first time that the words Fly, Build, and Entertain began to represent what Hangar 11 had grown into. The biggest change was the addition of aircraft racks, which allowed the fleet to be organized and lifted off the floor. Additionally, the newly accessible floor space allowed Team Pilots to comfortably sit on the couch and practice flying on RealFlight Evolution. This version also marked the beginning of incorporating a dedicated workspace, with a desk moved in front of the wall for building and repairs. For the first time, the Hangar also featured its own UMX wall.
